Gusbourne Brut Reserve is a premium English sparkling wine from Gusbourne Estate, one of England’s leading producers. It is made in the traditional method (like Champagne) and is their best-selling wine.
Gusbourne Brut Reserve is a multi-vintage or vintage-dated (depending on release) cuvée that is bright gold in color with a fine, persistent mousse. It offers aromas of red fruits (cherry, strawberry), orchard fruits, citrus (lemon, orange peel, green apple), fresh pastry/brioche, toasted nuts/cobnuts, and delicate spice. On the palate, it is opulent yet elegant, with vibrant acidity, soft stone fruit, biscuit/toasty notes from lees aging, and a long, zesty finish. It is generally Chardonnay-driven with contributions from Pinot Noir (body/depth) and Pinot Meunier (floral/fruity softness). Residual sugar is around 9 g/L.

Drink Window
Most vintages are approachable on release but benefit from some bottle age. Recent vintages (e.g., 2019–2022) drink well now through 2026–2028+ depending on the year. It shows good aging potential with developing toasty/biscuit characters; some older releases continue to improve.
